Lisa & Benn

The two renewed their love for each other on a romantic Sunday during July. They took their caravan to Indian Head, about a 45 minute drive North of Port Macquarie, NSW. They wanted to document this time in their lives. With three kids at home, they took the chance to get away and enjoy each others company.

Working with the talented Pete from Bloom Daddy, we styled a little picnic for them to enjoy together before adventuring along the headland. We wanted to create a vintage, retro type vibe for them. Colourful, whimsical & fun! We had a clear vision in mind for these two. We took the reins so all Lisa & Benn had to do was show up and enjoy it all!

They enjoyed a cheeky little wine and took in a moment together before heading to the ceremony location. It is so important to take as many little moments together as you can, whether it is an intimate elopement or jam-packed wedding. Be present, ground yourselves, and soak it all in.

Pete styled their ceremony to face the ocean, a place they enjoy together often. The light was shining perfectly onto them, lighting them up. Lisa's bouquet was not so much a bouquet, but a basket of flowers. Unique is a word we often use to describe this day. Although it is hard to find enough words to do it all justice. As vendors, being trusted to craft someone's day is such an honour. Seeing it all come together launches us onto an unforgettable feeling of cloud 9.

We ventured across to Kylie's Hut to get a few steamy (literally) photos of the two lovers. The sun was putting on a fine show for us, once again illuminating the two together.

Just as the sun was starting to come down, we started our little treck up the headland. Lisa was way too happy to do it in her heels. We talked and laughed along the way, stopping for photos when we felt it was right.

The colour of Lisa's dress tied in with the greenery around us made a spectacular sight. Fellow walkers and sunset chasers passed us and congratulated them with huge smiles. The walk was slow as we took in all the sights around us. The headland is such a beautiful way to take in and appreciate the beauty that our little corner of the world holds. It is so easy to forget how lucky we are. These experiences are so grounding and breathtaking, in the best way.
